And if he was in a state of impurity before the meridian, he is now in a state of impurity; because he is certain that he transitioned from it to a state of purity, then broke it, and the purity after breaking it is a matter of doubt. And Allah knows best.
These are all the things that invalidate purity. It is not invalidated by anything else according to the majority of scholars, except that it has been narrated from Mujahid, al-Hakam, and Hammad that trimming the mustache, clipping the nails, and plucking the armpit hair require wudu'. The view of the majority of scholars is to the contrary, and we do not know of any evidence for what they claim. And Allah, the Glorified, knows best.
وإنْ كانَ قَبْلَ الزَّوَالِ مُحْدِثًا، فهو الآنَ مُحْدِثٌ؛ لأنه تَيَقَّنَ أنه انْتَقَلَ عَنْهُ إلَى الطَهَارَةِ ثم نَقَضَها، والطَّهَارَةُ بعدَ نَقْضِها مَشْكُوكٌ فِيها. واللهُ أعلمُ.
فهذَا جَمِيعُ نَواقِضِ الطَّهَارَةِ. ولا تَنْتَقِضُ بغَيْرِ ذَلِكَ في قَوْلِ عامَّة العُلَماء، إلَّا أنَّه قد حُكِىَ عن مُجَاهدٍ، والحَكَمِ، وحَمَّادٍ: في قَصِّ الشَّارِبِ، وتَقْلِيمِ الأَظْفَارِ، ونَتْفِ الإِبْطِ، الوُضُوءُ. وقَوْلُ جُمْهورِ العُلَماء بخِلَافِهم، ولَا نَعْلَمُ فيما يَقُولُونَ حُجَّةً. واللهُ سبحانَه أعْلَمُ.
