It is my transmission from its author, the Imam, the scholar, the master, the precise expert, Muwaffaq al-Din Abu Muhammad 'Abd Allah ibn Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Qudama al-Maqdisi, may God be pleased with him. It was written on the mentioned date by Mahasin ibn 'Abd al-Malik ibn 'Ali ibn Naja(1), praising God and invoking blessings upon His Messenger, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace."
The part was written in Naskhi script. It has traces of slight moisture at its end, consists of 235 folios, with a layout of 21 lines per page.
The seventh part, beginning with Kitab al-Nikah (Marriage) and ending with the end of the section "If he says: You are divorced today, when tomorrow comes" from Kitab al-Talaq (Divorce). At the beginning of the part is the endowment note of Barsbay, the ownership note of Ibn Ma'ruf, [the ownership note of] Muhammad al-Shafi'i, and the testimony of "al-Marhumi" regarding the endowment. The part was written in Naskhi script, and its completion was agreed upon on the afternoon of Thursday, the 11th of Dhu al-Qa'dah al-Muharram, in the year 734 AH. It consists of 215 folios, with a layout of 25 lines per page.
The eighth part, beginning with: "Section: If he says: You are divorced yesterday, and he has no intention" from Kitab al-Talaq (Divorce), and ending with the end of Kitab al-Nafaqat (Maintenance). At the beginning of the part is the endowment note of Barsbay, and the witness to it is "al-Marhumi." It was written in Naskhi script. Muhammad ibn Hibat Allah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Muhammad ibn Hibat Allah al-Bakri—by lineage—al-Maliki—by school—al-Maghribi—by origin and birth—finished it during the forenoon of Thursday, the 11th of the sacred Dhu al-Qa'dah in the months of the year 734 AH in the city of Damascus. The part consists of 217 folios, with a layout of 25 lines per page.
The ninth part, beginning with Kitab al-Jirah (Wounds/Injuries) and ending with Bab al-Ashribah (Chapter on Drinks). At the beginning of the volume is the endowment note of Barsbay, the witness to it is Muhammad ibn 'Ali al-Ayyubi, and the previously mentioned ownership note of Ibn Ma'ruf dated the beginning of the sacred Dhu al-Hijjah in the year 806 AH, and on the
