a wet nurse except for that same wage, then the mother is more entitled; because both of them are equal in the wage, so the mother is more entitled, just as if each of them requested the wage of her likes.

Section: If a married woman with a stranger requests to breastfeed her child for the wage of her likes, with the permission of her husband, her right is established, and she is more entitled to it than anyone else; because the mother was only prevented from breastfeeding for the right of the husband, so when he gives permission for it, the barrier is removed, and she becomes like one who is not married. If the husband forbids her, her right falls; because it is impossible for her to attain that.

Section: If a woman breastfeeds her child while she is still in the marriage bond of his father, and she requires an increase in maintenance, it is incumbent upon him; for the saying of God, the Almighty: {And upon the father is their provision and their clothing according to what is recognized}. And because she is entitled to receive from him the amount of her sufficiency, so when her need increases, her sufficiency increases. And God knows best.
