that the Prophet (peace be upon him) prohibited [sadl in prayer, and] (57) that a man should cover his mouth.
[And is it disliked to cover the nose with a litham (face veil)? There are two reports: one, it is disliked, because Ibn 'Umar disliked it. The other, it is not disliked, because specifying the mouth with the prohibition of covering it indicates the permissibility of covering other than it.] (58)
It is disliked for a man to pray in a garment dyed with saffron, as well as one dyed with safflower; because al-Bukhari and Muslim (59) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade a man from using saffron dye. Muslim (60) also narrated from 'Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: "The Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade me from wearing garments dyed with safflower." 'Abd Allah ibn 'Amr said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) saw me wearing two garments dyed with safflower, and said: "Indeed, this is from the garments of
