Chapter (16): The same conditions are considered [for the prayer of the child as are considered for the prayer of the adult] (17), [except for the covering (sutra); for] (18) the statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Allah does not accept the prayer of a woman who has reached puberty except with a head covering (khimar) (19)," indicates the validity of the prayer of [others without a khimar] (20).

203 - Issue; He said: (And the prostrations of the Quran are fourteen prostrations)

The famous position in the Madhhab is that the confirmed prostrations (aza'im) of the Quran are fourteen prostrations, and this is the position of Abu Hanifa in one of the two narrations, and of al-Shafi'i in one of his two sayings. [It has been narrated from Abu Bakr, Umar] (1), Ibn Mas'ud, Ammar, Abu Hurayra, Ibn Umar, Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz, a group of the Successors (tabi'un), and Ishaq, [that which indicates this, due to their saying: There are three prostrations in the Mufassal. It was also narrated from] (2) Ahmad, may Allah have mercy on him, another narration, that they are fifteen prostrations, including the prostration in Surah Sad. This was also narrated from Uqba ibn Amir, and it is the position of Ishaq, due to what was narrated from Amr ibn al-As, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited to him fifteen prostrations, three of which are in the Mufassal, and there are two prostrations in Surah al-Hajj. It was narrated by Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah (3). Malik said, in one narration, and al-Shafi'i in one saying: The confirmed prostrations are eleven [prostrations, none of which are from the Mufassal] (4). Ibn Abd al-Barr said: This is the position of Ibn Umar, Ibn Abbas, Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, Ibn Jubayr, al-Hasan, Ikrimah, Mujahid, Ata,
