our companions, because Umm Hani narrated that the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) entered her house on the day of the Conquest of Makkah and prayed eight rak'ahs; I have never seen a prayer lighter than it, except that he would complete the bowing and prostration. It is agreed upon (56). Its time is when the sun rises and its heat intensifies, due to the saying of the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace): "The prayer of the Awwabin (those who return to Allah) is when the young camels feel the heat of the ground" (57). Recorded by Muslim (58). Some of our companions said: It is not recommended to perform it consistently, because the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) did not perform it consistently. Aisha said: "I have never seen the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) perform the Duha prayer at all." Agreed upon (59). From Abdullah bin Shaqiq, who said: I said to Aisha: "Did the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) perform the Duha prayer?" She said: "No, unless he came from his absence." Recorded by Muslim (60). Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Layla said: No one told me that he saw the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) perform the Duha prayer except Umm Hani, for she reported that the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) entered her house on the day of the Conquest of Makkah, and he prayed eight
