the Station [of Abraham], then you come to Zamzam and drink [from its water] (14), then you come to the Multazam, which is between the [Black] Stone and the Door, and touch it, then supplicate, then ask (15) for your need, [then touch the Stone, and depart] (16). Some of our companions said: And he should say in his supplication: "O Allah, this is Your House, and I am Your servant, the son of Your servant. You have carried me upon what You have subjected for me of Your creation, and You have caused me to travel through Your lands until You have caused me to reach Your House by Your grace, and You have aided me in performing my rituals. If You are pleased with me, then increase Your pleasure with me, and if not, then from now, before my house becomes distant from Your House. This (17) is the time of my departure if You permit me, not seeking to replace You or Your House, nor desiring anyone but You or anything other than Your House. O Allah, accompany me with well-being in my body, health in my frame, and protection in my religion. Make my final return excellent, grant me Your obedience forever (18) as long as You keep me alive, and gather for me the goodness of both this world and the Hereafter, for You are capable of all things." From Tawus, who said: I saw a Bedouin come to the Multazam and cling to the curtains of the Kaaba, saying: "In You I seek refuge, and to You I turn for protection. المَقَامِ، ثمَّ تَأْتِى زَمْزَمَ فتَشْرَبُ [من مَائِها] (١٤)، ثمَّ تَأْتِى المُلْتَزَمَ ما بين الحَجَرِ والبَابِ، فتَسْتَلِمُه، ثمَّ تَدْعُو، ثمَّ تَسْأَلُ (١٥) حَاجَتَكَ، [ثم تَسْتَلِمُ الحَجَرَ، وتَنْصَرِفُ] (١٦). وقال بعضُ أصْحَابِنا: ويقولُ فى دُعَائِه: اللَّهُمَّ هذا بَيْتُكَ، وأنا عَبْدُكَ، وابنُ عَبْدِكَ، حَمَلْتَنِى على ما سَخَّرْتَ لى من خَلْقِكَ، وسَيَّرْتَنِى فى بِلَادِكَ حتَّى بَلَّغْتَنِى بِنِعْمَتِكَ إلى بَيْتِكَ، وأعَنْتَنِى على أدَاءِ نُسُكِى، فإنْ كُنْتَ رَضِيتَ عَنِّى، فازْدَدْ عَنِّى رضًا، وإلَّا فمِنَ الآن قبلَ أن تَنْأَى عن بَيْتِكَ دَارِى، فهذا (١٧) أوَانُ انْصِرَافِى إن أَذِنْتَ لى، غيرَ مُسْتَبْدِلٍ بك ولا ببَيْتِكَ، ولا رَاغِبٍ عنك ولا عن بَيْتِكَ، اللَّهُمَّ فَأَصْحِبْنِى العَافِيَةَ فى بَدَنِى، والصِّحَّةَ فى جِسْمى، والعِصْمَةَ فى دِينى، وأَحْسِنْ مُنْقَلَبِى، وارْزُقْنِى طَاعَتَكَ أبَدًا (١٨) ما أبْقَيْتَنِى، واجْمَعْ لى بين خَيْرَىِ (١٩) الدُّنْيَا والآخِرَةِ، إنَّكَ على كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ. وعن طَاوُسٍ قال: رأيتُ أعْرَابِيًّا أَتَى المُلْتَزَمَ، فتَعَلَّقَ بأَسْتارِ الكَعْبَةِ، فقال: بك أعُوذُ، وبِكَ أَلُوذُ، اللَّهُمَّ فاجْعَل لى فى اللَّهَفِ إلى جُودِكَ، والرِّضَا بِضَمَانِكَ، مَنْدُوحًا عن مَنْعِ البَاخِلِينَ، وغِنًى عَمَّا فى أَيْدى المُسْتَأْثِرِينَ، اللَّهُمَّ بِفَرَجِكَ القَرِيبِ، ومَعْرُوفِكَ القَدِيمِ، وعَادَتِكَ الحَسَنَةِ. ثمَّ أضَلَّنِى فى النّاسِ، فألْفَيْتُه (٢٠) بِعَرَفَاتٍ قَائِمًا (١٨)، وهو

= فعل ذلك، وله أن يفعل ذلك قبل طواف الوداع؛ فإن هذا الالتزام لا فرق بين أن يكون حال الوداع أو غيره، والصحابة كانوا يفعلون ذلك حين يدخلون مكة. إلى أن قال: ولو وقف عند الباب، ودعا هناك من غير التزام للبيت، لكان حسنا.وقال ابن القيِّم، فى "زاد المعاد" ٥/ ٢٩٨: وأمَّا المسألة الثانية، وهى وقوفه فى الملتزم، فالذى روى عنه أنَّه فعله يوم الفتح. وذكر حديث عبد الرحمن بن صفوان، ثمَّ ذكر فعل ابن عمر، وقال: فهذا يحتمل أن يكون فى وقت الوداع، وأن يكون فى غيره، ولكن قال مجاهد والشافعى بعده وغيرهما: إنَّه يستحب أن يقف فى الملتزم بعد طواف الوداع، ويدعو. انتهى.(١٤) فى الأصل، أ: "منها".(١٥) فى الأصل: "تسله".(١٦) سقط من: الأصل.(١٧) فى الأصل: "هذا".(١٨) سقط من: الأصل.(١٩) فى الأصل، أ: "خير".(٢٠) فى أ، ب، م: "فلفيته".
