regarding a limb and a day and night is purely arbitrary. As for wrapping oneself in a shirt, that does not constitute wearing sewn clothing, which is why it is not forbidden for him, whereas the disputed matter is prohibited.
Section: He is obligated to wash off the perfume and remove the clothing, because he has committed a prohibited act, so he is required to eliminate it and cease its continuation, like all other prohibitions. It is recommended that he seek the help of one who is not in ihram to wash off the perfume, so that the pilgrim does not come into contact with the perfume himself, though it is permissible for him to do it himself, and there is nothing upon him [for doing so]; because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to the person he saw wearing perfume or khaluq: "Wash the perfume from yourself." And because he is abandoning it. If he cannot find anything with which to wash it off, he should wipe it with a cloth or rub it off with earth, leaves, or grass; because what is upon him is to remove it according to his ability, and this is the limit of his ability.
Section: If he is in need of wudu (ablution) and washing off the perfume, and he has water that is only sufficient for one of them, he shall prioritize washing off the perfume and perform tayammum for his state of impurity; because there is no concession in retaining the perfume, while there is a concession in leaving wudu in favor of tayammum. If he is able to remove the scent of the perfume without water, he should do so and perform wudu; because the objective of removing the perfume is to eliminate its scent, so water is not specifically required for it, unlike wudu.
Section: If he wears a shirt, a turban, trousers, and leather socks, he owes only one fidyah, because it is a prohibited act of a single category, so more than one fidyah is not obligatory for it,
