170 - Al-Ḥasan ibn Yaḥyā ibn Kathīr al-ʿAnbarī narrated to me, he said: Khuzayma Abū Muḥammad narrated to us, he said: Wahb ibn Munabbih passed by a man who was blind, leprous, crippled, naked, and afflicted with vitiligo, while he was saying: “Praise be to Allah for His blessing.” A man who was with Wahb said: “What blessing do you have upon you while you are in this state?” So the man said: “Cast your gaze toward the people of the city and look at their great number; should I not praise Allah for His blessing that there is no one in it who knows Allah other than me?”
