182 - ʿAlī ibn al-Ḥasan narrated to me, from Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥusayn, who said: Ḥakīm ibn Jaʿfar narrated to me, who said: Qurrah al-Naḥḥāt narrated to me, who said: I said to a worshipper among the people of Jordan who used to resort to its mountains: "Advise me." He said: "Acquire the doing of good deeds, and seek means of approach to Allah through righteous actions; for indeed, I have never seen anything more pleasing to the Master than that which He loves, so hasten to His love, and He will hasten to loving you." Then he wept, so I said: "Tell me more, may Allah have mercy on you." He said: "Patience in enduring the love of Allah and His will is the head of all righteousness," or he said: "of all good."
