184 - Aḥmad ibn Ibrāhīm narrated to us, Muḥammad ibn Muṣʿab narrated to us, from Yaḥyā ibn Sulaym, from Ibn Abī Rawwād, who said: I saw an ulcer on the hand of Muḥammad ibn Wāsiʿ, and it was as if he noticed how much it distressed me, so he said: "Do you know what blessing Allah has bestowed upon me in this ulcer?" So I remained silent, whereupon he said: "That He did not place it upon the pupil of my eye, nor on the tip of my tongue, nor on the tip of my private part." He said: So his ulcer became trivial in my eyes.
