32 - Muḥammad ibn Hārūn narrated to me, Abū ʿUmayr narrated to us, Hāshim ibn Malīḥ narrated to us, from al-Baṭṭāl al-Khathʿamī, who said: I heard al-Awzāʿī ask Khuṣayla, the daughter of Wāʾila ibn al-Asqaʿ: "What did you hear your father say when death approached him?" She said: He called me, took my right hand and said: "O my little daughter, be patient," until he counted my five fingers. Then he took my left hand and said: "O my little daughter, be patient," until he counted my five fingers.
