63 - Narrated to us ʿAlī ibn Muslim: Narrated to us Saʿīd ibn ʿĀmir, on the authority of al-Muʿtamir, on the authority of Layth ibn Abī Sulaym, who said: "It was said to Ayyūb: 'O Ayyūb, do not be amazed by your patience, for I know what every hair sucks from your flesh and blood; and were it not that I granted the place of every hair of yours patience, you would not have been patient.'"
