78 - Ḥamzah ibn al-ʿAbbās narrated to me, ʿAbdān ibn ʿUthmān narrated to us, ʿAbd Allāh informed us, Ibn ʿUyaynah informed us, saying: Some of the scholars said: “Indeed, God, the Mighty and Sublime, gave you the world as a loan and asked it back from you as a loan. So if you give it willingly with good cheer, He will multiply it for you from one good deed to ten, up to seven hundred, up to even more than that. And if He takes it from you while you are unwilling, yet you remain patient and seek reward with Him, then upon you shall be blessings and mercy, and He will guarantee guidance for you.”
