87 - And Abu Bakr al-Marwudhi informed us, saying: I heard Abu 'Abd Allah [Ahmad ibn Hanbal] commanding the refraining from bloodshed, and he would denounce rebelling [against the leaders] with a stern denunciation.
٨٧ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْمَرُّوذِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، «يَأْمُرُ بِكَفِّ الدِّمَاءِ، وَيُنْكِرُ الْخُرُوجَ إِنْكَارًا شَدِيدًا»
