107 - Al-Abbas ibn Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Abd al-Karim informed me, saying: Ishaq ibn Ibrahim ibn Hani' narrated to us, saying: Ahmad [ibn Hanbal] narrated to me, saying: Abd Allah ibn al-Walid narrated to us, saying: Sufyan narrated to us, from al-Harith ibn Hasirah, from Zayd ibn Wahb, from Hudhayfah, who said: "Its gravity lies only upon the one who stirs it up." Ahmad said: He means during the tribulation (fitnah).
١٠٧ - أَخْبَرَنِي الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ، قَالَ: ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ هَانِئٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، قَالَ: ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ حَصِيرَةَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ⦗١٤٤⦘ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، قَالَ: «إِنَّمَا اعْتِبَارُهَا عَلَى مَنْ أَثَارَهَا» ، قَالَ أَحْمَدُ: يَعْنِي فِي الْفِتْنَةِ
