130 - 'Abd al-Malik al-Maymuni informed me that al-Walid said to Abu 'Abd Allah, 'O Abu 'Abd Allah, we captured a woman who claims Islam, and she says, "Let me go, and I will send back ten Muslim women in my place?"' Abu 'Abd Allah said, 'If she professes Islam, how can she be released? She is not to be released.' He [al-Walid] said, 'She has a child, and he is with you at your door.' He [Abu 'Abd Allah] then said to him again, 'She is not to be released to go to them.'
١٣٠ - أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ الْمَيْمُونِيُّ، أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَهُ الْوَلِيدُ: يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، نَأْخُذُ الْمَرْأَةَ تَدَّعِي الْإِسْلَامَ، فَتَقُولُ: دَعُونِي وَأُرْسِلُ لَكُمْ عَشْرَ مُسْلِمَاتٍ بَدَلِي؟ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ: " إِذَا كَانَتْ تُقِرُّ بِالْإِسْلَامِ كَيْفَ تُتْرَكُ؟ لَا تُتْرَكُ، قَالَ: لَهَا وَلَدٌ، ثُمَّ يَعْنِي عِنْدَ بَابَكَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ أَيْضًا: لَا تُتْرَكُ، تَذْهَبُ إِلَيْهِمْ "
