147 - 'Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Hamid al-Qattan informed me, saying: Bakr ibn Muhammad related to us, from his father, that he asked Abu 'Abd Allah about fighting robbers. He said: "I consider it permissible to fight robbers if they intend [to take] your wealth and your life."
١٤٧ - أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الْقَطَّانُ، قَالَ: ثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ قِتَالِ اللُّصُوصِ، قَالَ: «أَرَى قِتَالَ اللُّصُوصِ إِذَا أَرَادُوا مَالَكَ وَنَفْسَكَ»
