149 - Mansur ibn al-Walid al-Naysaburi informed me, saying: Ali ibn Sa'id narrated to us that Abu Abd Allah (Ahmad ibn Hanbal) was asked about a man who fights to defend his sanctity (hurma) and his family, and he replied: "I do not know."
١٤٩ - أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْصُورُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ سُئِلَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُقَاتِلُ دُونَ حُرْمَتِهِ وَأَهْلِهِ، فَقَالَ: «مَا أَدْرِي»
