And also a hadith from Umar: 'That a man found a man with his wife, so he struck them both with a sword, severing the woman's thigh and the man's thigh. Umar rendered his blood [the man's blood] as unpunishable.'
وَحَدِيثٌ أَيْضًا عَنْ عُمَرَ: «أَنَّ رَجُلًا وَجَدَ مَعَ امْرَأَتِهِ رَجُلًا فَضَرَبَهُمَا بِالسَّيْفِ، فَقَطَعَ فَخِذَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَفَخِذَ الرَّجُلِ، كَانَ ⦗١٦٧⦘ عُمَرُ أَهْدَرَ دَمَهُ»
