Chapter: What a man is commanded to do when he has overpowered the attacker in battle, or wounded the thief to the point of repelling him from himself, such that he should not kill him after he has been incapacitated, nor should he repeat the blow upon him, nor kill him if he has taken him prisoner, and he should not inflict any harm upon him except with the permission of the Imam.
بَابُ مَا يُؤْمَرُ بِهِ الرَّجُلُ إِذَا أَثْخَنَ فِي الْقِتَالِ، أَوْ جَرَحَ اللِّصَّ حَتَّى يَمْنَعَهُ عَنْ نَفْسِهِ فَلَا يَقْتُلُهُ بَعْدَ الْإِثْخَانِ، وَلَا يُعِيدُ عَلَيْهِ الضَّرْبَ، وَلَا يَقْتُلُهُ إِنْ أَخَذَهُ أَسِيرًا، وَلَا يُحْدِثُ فِيهِ حَادِثَةً إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ الْإِمَامِ
