181 - Al-Husayn ibn al-Hasan al-Warraq narrated to me: Ibrahim ibn al-Harith narrated to us, that it was said to Abu 'Abd Allah. And al-Husayn ibn al-Hasan narrated to me: Muhammad ibn Dawud narrated to us, that I asked Abu 'Abd Allah—then he mentioned the matter—and he mentioned to Abu 'Abd Allah the act of adjuring the thief (by God) in a situation other than (a time of) civil strife (fitnah). He said: "The hadith of Qabus from Salman," and he did not consider it authentic. And he said: "The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: 'Whoever is fought and fights back, and is killed defending his wealth, is a martyr.'"
