183 - Muhammad ibn Abi Harun and Muhammad ibn Ja'far informed me that Abu al-Harith narrated to them that he said to Abu Abd Allah: "If he knows that he has no strength against them, and if he fights, he will be killed, what is your opinion for him? Should he fight, or should he yield and surrender his wealth?" He replied: "If he believes that if he gives them his wealth, they will let him go and he will not be killed, then if he refrains from fighting, I hope there is no harm in that. However, if it is most likely in his situation regarding them that if he yields, he will be killed, then he should defend himself to his full capacity as much as he is able."
