185 - Muhammad ibn Abi Harun informed me, saying: Ayyub ibn Ishaq narrated to us that Abu ‘Abd Allah [Ahmad ibn Hanbal] said: "As for civil strife (fitnah), do not touch a weapon, and do not defend yourself with a weapon or anything else; rather, enter your house."
