19 - Muhammad ibn Yahya al-Kahhal informed me, saying: Abu Abdullah said: "Ja'far al-Mutawakkil does not hold the (heretical) opinion; meaning, he does not hold the opinion of those who were before him regarding the Quran."
١٩ - أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْكَحَّالُ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ: «جَعْفَرٌ الْمُتَوَكِّلُ غَيْرَ مُعْتَقِدٍ لِمَقَالَةٍ، يَعْنِي غَيْرَ مُعْتَقِدٍ لِمَقَالَةِ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَهُ فِي الْقُرْآنِ»
