And also a narration from Umar: "That a man found a man with his wife, so he struck him with a sword, cutting the woman's thigh and the man's thigh; and Umar deemed his blood (the man found with her) to be of no consequence (uncompensated/waste)."
وَحَدِيثٌ أَيْضًا عَنْ عُمَرَ: «أَنَّ رَجُلًا وَجَدَ مَعَ امْرَأَتِهِ رَجُلًا فَضَرَبَهُ بِالسَّيْفِ فَقَطَعَ فَخِذَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَفَخِذَ الرَّجُلِ، فَكَانَ عُمَرُ أَهْدَرَ دَمَهُ»
