200 - Harb ibn Isma'il al-Kirmani informed me, saying: I said to Ishaq—meaning Ibn Rahwayh: "The hadith of Maysarah al-Fajr: I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, when were you a prophet?' He replied, 'While Adam was between the soul and the body.' What is the meaning of this?" He said: "Before the soul was breathed into him, and he had already been created."
