202 - Abu Bakr al-Marrudhi informed us, saying: Abu 'Abd Allah [Ahmad ibn Hanbal] was asked: "Was the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, born circumcised?" He said: "Allah knows best," then he said: "I do not know."
٢٠٢ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْمَرُّوذِيُّ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ: " هَلْ وُلِدَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَخْتُونًا قَالَ: اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: لَا أَدْرِي "
