206 - Abdullah ibn Ahmad ibn Hanbal informed us, saying: My father narrated to me, saying: Ziyad ibn Abdullah al-Bakka'i narrated to us, saying: Mansur narrated to us, from Salim, from his father, from Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "There is no one except that a companion from the jinn has been assigned to him." They asked, "Even you, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Even me, except that Allah aided me against him, so he submitted [fa-aslama], and he does not command me except with good."
٢٠٦ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ: ثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَكَّائِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا وَقَدْ وُكِّلَ بِهِ قَرِينُهُ مِنَ الْجِنِّ، قَالُوا: وَأَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: «وَأَنَا، إِلَّا أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَعَانَنِي عَلَيْهِ فَأَسْلَمَ، فَلَيْسَ يَأْمُرُنِي إِلَّا بِخَيْرٍ»
