237 - Abu Dawud al-Sijistani informed us, saying: Muhammad ibn Abi Safwan al-Thaqafi narrated to us, saying: Yahya ibn Kathir narrated to us, saying: Salm ibn Ja'far—from the people of Sana'a—narrated to us, saying: Sa'id al-Jurayri narrated to us, saying: Sayf al-Sadusi narrated to us, from Abd Allah ibn Salam, who said: "When the Day of Resurrection comes, your Prophet (peace be upon him) will be brought and seated before Allah upon His Chair (Kursi)." I said: "O Abu Mas'ud, if he is upon His Chair, then is he not with Him?" He said: "Woe unto you! This is the most soothing hadith to my eyes in the world."
٢٣٧ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ السِّجِسْتَانِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي صَفْوَانَ الثَّقَفِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ صَنْعَاءَ قَالَ: ثَنَا سَعِيدٌ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا سَيْفٌ السَّدُوسِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ، قَالَ: «إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ جِيءَ بِنَبِيِّكُمْ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأُقْعِدَ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ اللَّهِ عَلَى كُرْسِيِّهِ» ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ، إِذَا كَانَ عَلَى كُرْسِيِّهِ، فَلَيْسَ هُوَ مَعَهُ، قَالَ: وَيْلَكُمْ، هَذَا أَقَرُّ حَدِيثٍ لِعَيْنَيَّ فِي الدُّنْيَا "
