I heard Abu Bakr ibn Sadaqah saying: I heard Abu Yahya al-Naqid—may Allah have mercy on him—saying: I heard Muhammad ibn Mus'ab, the ascetic, mention this story and say in it: "Then He will direct him to his wives and his honor, may Allah bless him and grant him peace."
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ صَدَقَةَ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا يَحْيَى النَّاقِدَ، رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ مُصْعَبٍ الْعَابِدَ، وَذَكَرَ هَذِهِ الْقِصَّةَ، وَقَالَ فِيهِ: «ثُمَّ يَصْرِفُهُ إِلَى أَزْوَاجِهِ وَكَرَامَتِهِ، صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ»
