257 - Al-Hasan ibn Salih al-'Attar informed me, from Muhammad ibn 'Ali al-Sarraj, who said: "I saw the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, with Abu Bakr on his right and 'Umar on his left, may the mercy and pleasure of Allah be upon them both. I approached the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and stood to the left of 'Umar. I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I wish to say something.' He turned to me and said: 'Speak.' I said: 'Al-Tirmidhi claims that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will not seat you with Him upon the Throne. So what do you say, O Messenger of Allah?' He turned to me appearing as if he were angry, gesturing with his right hand while forming the number forty with his fingers, and he said: 'Yes, by Allah; yes, by Allah; yes, by Allah, He will seat me with Him upon the Throne; yes, by Allah, He will seat me with Him upon the Throne; yes, by Allah, He will seat me with Him upon the Throne.' Then I woke up."
٢٥٧ - أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْعَطَّارُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ السَّرَّاجِ، قَالَ: " رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، وَعُمَرُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ، رَحْمَةُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمَا وَرِضْوَانُهُ، فَتَقَدَّمْتُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُمْتُ عَنْ يَسَارِ عُمَرَ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَقُولَ شَيْئًا فَأَقْبَلَ عَلَيَّ، فَقَالَ: قُلْ، فَقُلْتُ: إِنَّ التِّرْمِذِيَّ يَقُولُ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا يُقْعِدُكَ مَعَهُ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ، فَكَيْفَ تَقُولُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، فَأَقْبَلَ عَلَيَّ شِبْهَ الْمُغْضَبِ وَهُوَ يُشِيرُ بِيَدِهِ الْيُمْنَى عَاقِدًا بِهَا أَرْبَعِينَ، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: «بَلَى وَاللَّهِ، بَلَى وَاللَّهِ، بَلَى وَاللَّهِ، يُقْعِدُنِي مَعَهُ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ، بَلَى وَاللَّهِ يُقْعِدُنِي مَعَهُ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ، بَلَى وَاللَّهِ يُقْعِدُنِي مَعَهُ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ، ثُمَّ انْتَبَهْتُ»
