280 - Abdullah ibn Ahmad informed us: Al-Abbas al-Anbari wrote to me in his own handwriting: Yahya ibn Kathir al-Anbari narrated to us, saying: Salm ibn Ja'far narrated to us—and he was reliable—from al-Jurayri, from Sayf al-Sadusi, from Abdullah ibn Salam, who said: "On the Day of Resurrection, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, will be seated on the Chair (Kursi) of the Lord, before the Lord, Exalted and Majestic is He." Abu Mas'ud al-Jurayri was asked: "If he is on the Chair of the Lord, then he is with Him?" He replied: "Yes, with the Lord." He then added: "This is the most noble hadith I have ever heard, and I refute anyone who rejects this hadith; in my view, he is a man of evil, harboring malice against the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace."
٢٨٠ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ: كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ الْعَبَّاسُ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ بِخَطِّ يَدِهِ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، وَكَانَ ثِقَةً عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَيْفٍ السَّدُوسِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ، قَالَ: «إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَاعِدٌ عَلَى كُرْسِيِّ الرَّبِّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الرَّبِّ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ» ، فَقِيلَ لِأَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ: إِذَا كَانَ عَلَى كُرْسِيِّ الرَّبِّ فَهُوَ مَعَهُ، قَالَ: نَعَمْ، مَعَ الرَّبِّ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: هَذَا أَشْرَفُ حَدِيثٍ سَمِعْتُهُ قَطُّ، وَأَنَا مُنْكَرٌ عَلَى مَنْ رَدَّ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ، وَهُوَ عِنْدِي رَجُلُ سُوءٍ مُتَّهِمٌ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
