288 - And Abu Bakr narrated to us, saying: Abu Bakr ibn Hammad al-Muqri', a companion of Abu 'Abd Allah Ahmad ibn Hanbal, narrated to me, saying: Ahmad ibn Salih al-Misri narrated to us, saying: Yahya ibn Hassan narrated to us, saying: Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Layth, from Mujahid, regarding {It may be that your Lord will raise you to a Station of Praise} [Al-Isra': 79], he said: "He will seat him upon the Throne." Abu Bakr ibn Hammad said: "Whoever hears these hadiths mentioned in his presence and remains silent regarding them is suspect; how then is the case of one who rejects them, attacks them, or speaks against them?"
٢٨٨ - وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ الْمُقْرِئُ صَاحِبُ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ قَالَ: ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ، قَالَ: ثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ: {عَسَى أَنْ يَبْعَثَكَ رَبَّكَ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا} [الإسراء: ٧٩] قَالَ: «يُقْعِدُهُ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ» ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ: مَنْ ذُكِرَتْ عِنْدَهُ هَذِهِ الْأَحَادِيثُ فَسَكَتَ عَنْهَا فَهُوَ مُتَّهَمٌ، فَكَيْفَ مَنْ رَدَّهَا وَطَعَنَ فِيهَا، أَوْ تَكَلَّمَ فِيهَا
