302 - Abu Bakr narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Bishr narrated to me, saying: Furat ibn Mahbub al-Sakuni, Muhammad ibn Yazid al-Bazzaz, 'Atiyyah ibn Asbat al-Shawdhari, Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Tamim, and others narrated to me, saying: Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, saying: Layth narrated to us, from Mujahid, regarding His saying: "It may be that your Lord will raise you to a Praised Station" [Al-Isra: 79]. He said: "He will seat him upon the Throne." Abu 'Abd Allah said: "There are other narrations besides these, but it was burdensome for me to write them down."
٣٠٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، قالِ: حَدَّثَنِي فُرَاتُ بْنُ مَحْبُوبٍ السَّكُونِيُّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْبَزَّازُ، وَعَطِيَّةُ بْنُ أَسْبَاطٍ الشَّوْذَرِيُّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ، وَغَيْرُهُمْ، قَالُوا: ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا لَيْثٌ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ: {عَسَى أَنْ يَبْعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا} [الإسراء: ٧٩] ، قَالَ: «يُقْعِدُهُ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ» .، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ: وَفِي هَذَا غَيْرُ هَذِهِ الْأَحَادِيثِ، وَلَكِنْ ثَقُلَ عَلَيَّ كِتَابَتُهَا
