310 - Abu Bakr narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn 'Umar al-Missisi narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Layth, from Mujahid, regarding the words of Allah, the Almighty and Majestic: "It may be that your Lord will raise you to a Praised Station" [Al-Isra: 79]. He said: "He shall seat him with Him upon the Throne." He said: "Whoever rejects the hadith of 'Abd Allah ibn Salam and the hadith of Mujahid concerning the Praised Station has disparaged the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), rejected his virtue, and in our view, is an innovator (mubtadi')."
٣١٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا ⦗٢٥٨⦘ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: {عَسَى أَنْ يَبْعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا} [الإسراء: ٧٩] قَالَ: «يُقْعِدُهُ مَعَهُ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ» ، قَالَ: فَمَنْ رَدَّ حَدِيثَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنَ سَلَّامٍ وَحَدِيثَ مُجَاهِدٍ فِي الْمَقَامِ الْمَحْمُودِ، فَقَدْ أَزْرَى عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَرَدَّ فَضْلَهُ، وَكَانَ عِنْدَنَا مُبْتَدِعًا
