311 - Abu Bakr narrated to us, saying: Abu al-Fadl 'Abbas ibn Muhammad al-Duri narrated to us, saying: I heard Abu 'Ubayd al-Qasim ibn Sallam saying: "These hadiths are true, there is no doubt in them. The trustworthy authorities have transmitted them, one from another, until they reached us. We affirm them and believe in them just as they have come." Abu al-Fadl said: "And we say regarding these hadiths what Ahmad ibn Hanbal said, following him and his reports in that matter."
٣١١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا أَبُو الْفَضْلِ عَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عُبَيْدٍ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ سَلَّامِ، يَقُولُ: هَذِهِ الْأَحَادِيثُ حَقٌّ لَا يُشَكُّ فِيهَا، نَقَلَهَا الثِّقَاتُ بَعْضُهُمْ عَنْ بَعْضٍ حَتَّى صَارَتْ إِلَيْنَا، نُصَدِّقُ بِهَا، وَنُؤْمِنُ بِهَا عَلَى مَا جَاءَتْ. قَالَ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ: وَنَحْنُ نَقُولُ فِي هَذِهِ الْأَحَادِيثِ مَا قَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ مُتَّبِعِينَ لَهُ وَلِآثَارِهِ فِي ذَلِكَ
