322 - Abu Bakr narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Bishr narrated to us, saying: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Sharik narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to us, saying: Ibrahim ibn Muhajir and Layth ibn Abi Sulaym informed me, both saying: Mujahid narrated to us, saying: "When the Day of Resurrection occurs, David will recall his sin. Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, will say to him: 'Be in front of Me.' He will say: 'O Lord, my sin, my sin.' So Allah will say to him: 'Be behind Me.' He will say: 'O Lord, my sin, my sin.' Then Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, will say: 'Take hold of My foot.'"
