328 - Ya'qub ibn Sufyan informed us, saying: Yahya ibn Khalaf narrated to us, saying: al-Mu'tamir narrated to us, from his father, from Qatada, from Abu Rafi', from Abu Hurayra, from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who said: "When Allah concluded the creation, Allah wrote in a Book with Him: 'My mercy has prevailed,' or he said: 'My mercy has preceded My wrath,' so it is with Him above the Throne," or as he said.
