357 - 'Ali reported to us, saying: Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Khalid, from 'Amir, who said: 'Alqamah fought alongside 'Ali until he became lame at Siffin. 'Alqamah said: "A group of this Ummah has perished due to their opinions concerning 'Ali, just as the Christians perished concerning 'Isa ibn Maryam, peace be upon him."
٣٥٧ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيٌّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ: قَاتَلَ عَلْقَمَةُ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ حَتَّى عَرَجَ بِصِفِّينَ، فَقَالَ عَلْقَمَةُ: «لَقَدْ هَلَكَ قَوْمٌ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ بِرَأْيِهِمْ فِي عَلِيٍّ كَمَا هَلَكَتِ النَّصَارَى فِي عِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ»
