40 - Muhammad informed us, saying: Waki' reported, from Sufyan, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar, from Ibn 'Umar, who said: We pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, to hear and obey, and he began to say: "Insofar as you are able."
٤٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَ وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: بَايَعْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، عَلَى السَّمْعِ وَالطَّاعَةِ فَجَعَلَ يَقُولُ: «فِيمَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ»
