57 - Muhammad informed us, saying: Waki' informed us, from al-'Umari, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "It is incumbent upon you to hear and obey, unless you are commanded to commit an act of disobedience. If you are commanded to commit an act of disobedience, then there is neither hearing nor obedience."
٥٧ - أَخْبَرَ مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَ وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الْعُمَرِيِّ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «عَلَيْكُمْ بِالسَّمْعِ وَالطَّاعَةِ، إِلَّا أَنْ تُؤْمَرُوا بِمَعْصِيَةٍ، فَإِذَا أُمِرْتُمْ بِمَعْصِيَةٍ فَلَا سَمْعَ وَلَا طَاعَةَ»
