477 - Muhammad ibn Abi Harun informed us that Ishaq narrated to them, saying: I asked Abu 'Abd Allah regarding the testimony for the ten who were given the glad tidings of Paradise. He replied: "Did Abu Bakr not say to the people of apostasy: 'No, not until you testify that our slain are in Paradise and your slain are in the Fire'?" And indeed, the companions of Abu Bakr were more than ten."
٤٧٧ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي هَارُونَ، أَنَّ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَهُمْ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ الشَّهَادَةِ لِلْعَشَرَةِ الْمُبَشَّرِينَ بِالْجَنَّةِ , فَقَالَ: أَلَيْسَ قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ لِأَهْلِ الرِّدَّةِ: «لَا , حَتَّى تَشْهَدُوا أَنَّ قَتْلَانَا فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَقَتْلَاكُمْ فِي النَّارِ» ، فَقَدْ كَانَ أَصْحَابُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ عَشَرَةٍ
