496 - Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Matar and Zakariyya ibn Yahya informed us that Abu Talib narrated to them regarding this issue, saying: Abu Abd Allah said: "'That He may admit the believing men and the believing women to Gardens under which rivers flow' [Al-Fath: 5], and He said: 'And the foremost to the faith will be the foremost (in Paradise). These will be those nearest to Allah. In the Gardens of Delight' [Al-Waqi'ah: 10-12]."
٤٩٦ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَطَرٍ، وَزَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَنَّ أَبَا طَالِبٍ حَدَّثَهُمْ فِي هَذِهِ الْمَسْأَلَةِ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ: {لِيُدْخِلَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ} [الفتح: ٥] وَقَالَ: {وَالسَّابِقُونَ السَّابِقُونَ، أُولَئِكَ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ، فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ} [الواقعة: ١١]
