502 - Al-Duri informed us, saying: Yahya narrated to us, saying: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Ibn al-Mubarak, from Ma'mar, from 'Abd al-Karim al-Jazari, from Abu Ubaydah, who said: Sa'id ibn Zayd ibn 'Amr ibn Nufayl asked 'Abdullah [ibn Mas'ud]: 'The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, died, so where is he?' He replied: 'In Paradise.' He asked: 'And Abu Bakr?' He replied: 'The compassionate one (al-awwah) at every good that is sought.' He asked: 'And 'Umar?' He replied: 'When the righteous are mentioned, then come forth (hayya hala) to 'Umar.'
