536 - Yusuf ibn Musa informed me that it was said to Abu 'Abd Allah [Ahmad ibn Hanbal]: "If a man is writing and a Hadith comes mentioning 'Ali and 'Uthman, should he write 'Uthman and 'Ali?' He replied: 'There is no harm in that."
٥٣٦ - أَخْبَرَنِي يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قِيلَ لَهُ: " الرَّجُلُ يَكْتُبُ فَيَجِئُ الْحَدِيثُ عَلِيٌّ وَعُثْمَانُ، أَيَكْتِبُ هُوَ عُثْمَانُ وَعَلِيٌّ؟ قَالَ: لَا بَأْسَ "
