600 - 'Abd al-Malik ibn 'Abd al-Hamid informed me that Abu 'Abd Allah was asked about someone who says: "Abu Bakr and 'Umar," and I heard him say: "It does not please me." They said to him: "Then what about one who says: 'Abu Bakr, 'Umar, 'Uthman, and 'Ali'?" He replied: "I hope there is nothing wrong with that."
٦٠٠ - أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ سُئِلَ عَمَّنْ قَالَ: أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ، فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: " مَا يُعْجِبُنِي، قَالُوا لَهُ: فَمَنْ قَالَ: أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ وَعَلِيٌّ؟ قَالَ: أَرْجُو أَنْ لَا يَكُونَ بِهِ بَأْسٌ "
