651 - Muhammad ibn al-Husayn informed me that al-Fadl ibn Ziyad narrated to them, saying: I heard Abu 'Abd Allah narrating from 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Muhammad ibn Rashid, from 'Awf, who said: I was with al-Hasan, and there was a man there who disparaged Abu Musa for his following of 'Ali. Al-Hasan became angry and then said: "Subhan Allah! The Commander of the Believers, 'Uthman, was killed, then the people gathered upon their best and pledged allegiance to him. Is Abu Musa and his followers to be blamed?"
