Translation · EN

  1. 'Abd Allah informed us, saying: My father narrated to me, saying: Waki' narrated to us, from Abu al-Mu'tamir, meaning al-Hasawi—and his name is Yazid ibn Tahman—from Ibn Sirin, who said: "Mu'awiyah was not suspected regarding the hadith of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace)."

٦٧٥ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ: ثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُعْتَمِرِ يَعْنِي الْحَسَوِيَّ، قَالَ: وَاسْمُهُ يَزِيدُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، قَالَ: «كَانَ مُعَاوِيَةُ لَا يُتَّهَمُ فِي الْحَدِيثِ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ»
