701 - Harb informed me, saying: Abu Bakr Hammad ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, saying: Ya'qub ibn al-Faraj narrated to us, from 'Abd Allah ibn al-Mubarak, from Khalid al-Hadhdha', from Abu Qilabah, from Shaddad ibn Aws, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Mu'awiyah is the most forbearing of my Ummah and the most generous of them."
٧٠١ - أَخْبَرَنِي حَرْبٌ، قَالَ: ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ حَمَّادُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ: ثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ⦗٤٥٣⦘: «مُعَاوِيَةُ أَحْلَمُ أُمَّتِي وَأَجْوَدُهَا»
